Safe Haven

I read in the news today that Jessica Alba named her daughter Haven.  Apparently, when birthed, she was still initially in her placenta.  Later, when Jessica's husband first held her in his arms, both parents came to the realization that they, together, were giving her safe haven, and thus, her name came to them.  I think that is totally cool.  I truly believe we live in Heaven.  God has our backs and only wants us to learn our lessons through love.  That begins with a safe haven.  Our home is our haven.  It is a sacred place which needs to be guarded fiercely.  Charity begins at home.  Charity, compassion, commitment, good food, laughter, safety, a warm dog, and love, always love.

Take a Moment...and Stay with that Moment

"With every breath I take, I vow to be fully awake. With every step I take, I vow to take with a grateful heart. So may I see with eyes of love into hearts of all I meet to ease their burden when I can and to touch them with a smile of peace."

Happy Mother's Day

"May today there be peace within. May you trust that you are exactly where you are meant to be. May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are  born of faith in yourself and others. May you use the gifts that you have  received, and pass on the love that has been given to you. May you be  content with yourself just the way you are. Let this knowledge settle into  your bones, and allow your soul the freedom to sing, dance, praise and love. It is there for each and every one of us."

Thank you Marlene.

Eternal love and gratitude to Miriam Shostak Krasner.  Present in my every breath.
